Vegvisir (meaning sign post in Icelandic) is a sigil that was used in ancient times in Iceland and allowed the bearer to find their way through rough weather.
If this sign is carried, one will never lose his/her way in storms or bad weather even when the way is not know.
The modern use of the Vegvisir has been adapted slightly from it's ancient use. It's still a charm to prevent losing your way, but it isn't always applied to travel. You can use it to keep you stable and focused mentally. Staying on course isn't always a matter of getting from place to place physically. It's meaning is generally the same as it has always been, but it's realm of usefulness has expanded.
Use this sigil as a magical compass that will allow you to find your way through 'rough times'. We all know that during turbulent times when we face family, emotional or health issues our judgement can be clouded and we feel lost in this world. This sigil will allow you to store the light that will guide you through the darkness, this light that never goes out.
Handcrafted pendant measures (30mm) and is created using a deep bezel. The high quality Seal is covered by a durable high gloss resin bubble which both protects and enhances the image.
