A little piece of the Potteries, made by hand.

Inspired by the iconic bottle kilns of Stoke-on-Trent, this miniature kiln has been individually sculpted, carved and hand-painted, with each tiny brick added to give it the wonderfully weathered character of the originals.

Once at the heart of Stoke-on-Trent's pottery industry, bottle kilns still form one of the most recognisable parts of the city's landscape and history. This little version is my own wonky tribute to them — complete with aged red brickwork and a tiny dark kiln entrance.

Each kiln is made and painted entirely by hand, so no two will ever be quite the same. Slightly crooked bricks, irregular shapes and variations in colour are all part of their character.
