The AUM represents Unlimited Authority and the entire universe. Considered the first sound, the sound of the universe and contains other sounds.
The word Aum is a word with too much power and should be pronounced with great respect. The word is treated as a vibration. In Sanskrit are the letters aa, au and ma which, when pronounced together create the sound Aum or Om.
It is a mantra or a prayer, which when repeated with the appropriate tone of voice can be tuned throughout the body so that the sound can penetrate the center of our being, our soul or atma.
The past, present and future, all content contained in this sound and also that exists beyond the three forms of time.
