A Wordsworth Classic
The interest in the supernatural was high during Charles Dickens' lifetime he had always loved a good ghost story himself, particulary at Christmas time, and was open minded and willing to accept put to the test, the existence of ghosts.
Chilling as some of the stories here,Dickens has managed to inject characteristically grotesque comedy as he writes of revenge, insanity, dream visions, and much more
book is in excellent condition.
